SKILLS DEVELOPMENT COACH

 A native of Plainfield, New Jersey and  former European professional basketball player, Gordon played professionally in Germany, where he received second team all-league honors in his first season. Gordon, a Binghamton University graduate, with a Bachelor's of Science in Community and Public Affairs,  scored 1,023 career points and left the program's career leader in assists and steals. He made 102 consecutive starts and capped his outstanding four-year career with repeat second team America East all-conference honors in 2007-08. As a senior, he led the America East and ranked 25th in the country in steals. Gordon was also selected to the America East all-defensive team three straight seasons. Gordon coached 4 seasons as the head Varsity assistant at his Alma mater, Plainfield High School. During Gordon’s 4 seasons, the team won two Group III, State Championships. Gordon became the boys Head Coach at Piscataway Tech (2014-15). Gordon is currently a Detective for the City of Plainfield, Head Coach of the Plainfield High School boys basketball team, and the Founder of Different Breed Training. During the Summer of 2023, Gordon lead MSU Different Breed to a Division II, AAU World Championship.
